Emerald Owl Events was born in 2022 out of a passion for helping our clients mold their dreams into reality. Since our inception, we’ve committed ourselves to creating impactful and creative experiences for our clients and their guests, no matter the size of the event.
Our team strives to meet and exceed the needs of everyone involved. This is because we understand the importance of working with (not just for) our clients in order to make their events unforgettable, forging memories that last long after the last guest leaves.

SAM SLATER
Owner & Head of Creative Operations
Emerald Owl Events was founded by Sam Slater. Throughout the years, Sam has hosted celebrations for family and friends and developed a passion for making people happy on their special day. She began her career managing locations for various film production companies before pivoting careers to become a project manager for a large tech company. With her creative nature, love for events and travel, and her business management skills, she decided to create Emerald Owl Events and is now living her dream job as an event planner.

Working as an assistant location manager and project manager, Sam honed many skills necessary for an event planner. She is well-organized, detail-oriented, and individualizes her clients' events to fit their personality and needs.
